What is Brow Stain?
Brow Stain, also referred to as Henna, is a natural stain for eyebrows derived from the henna plant, specifically from its leaves and flowers, providing high-quality, lasting color. Unlike traditional dyes, brow henna is free of ammonia, lead, and peroxide, which reduces exposure to harsh chemicals. This gentle tint can last up to one week on the skin and six weeks on the brow hairs with proper care, giving you fuller, defined brows without commitment. Brow henna also includes brow shaping through tweezing for a clean, polished look.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Your brow artist will start by cleansing the brow area to remove oils for better henna absorption. After shaping your brows through tweezing, your artist will select the henna color based on your brow goals, skin tone, and type, possibly mixing a custom shade just for you. Once the color is blended with an activator, it’s carefully applied and left to set. You might feel a slight tingling, indicating the henna is working its magic. Finally, the henna is removed with a damp cotton round, leaving you ready to flaunt your beautifully tinted, long-lasting brows for any event or getaway.
Aftercare
To keep your Brow Stain looking fresh:
Avoid sun exposure around the brow area for 24 hours, as it may cause fading.
Skip oil-based makeup removers near the brows.
Avoid swimming and saunas for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
Try not to rub or wash the tinted area for a week, and be cautious while washing your face or showering.
Keep in mind that oily skin may reduce the stain on the skin faster than drier skin types, but your brows will still maintain their beautiful color on the hairs!
