 Fibroblast skin tightening

Please read carefully before booking your fibroblast treatment!

  • Fibroblast skin tightening is generally suitable for most people, as it is particularly effective at treating notoriously difficult-to-treat areas, including around the eyes or mouth, forehead, nose, neck, breasts, stomach, arms, knees and elbows, scars or sun spots, skin tags or anywhere on the body with extra/sagging skin. It is also suitable for most skin types and textures, although here are some contraindications:

If you have darker skin than a type 6 on the Fitzpatrick scale.

If your skin is prone to scarring/keloids

If you have any of the following; severe (active) acne, lupus, psoriasis or vitiligo

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, immune-deficient or have any other autoimmune disorder

You must ensure the skin is its natural color and not altered by the sun during the time of your treatment.

There is no pre-treatment required, but it is advised that you do not apply any cosmetic products on the treatment area, especially anything containing alcohol.

No use of accutane within 1 year of treatment.

Please avoid the following for 4 weeks prior to your plasmalift session:

Botox and/or fillers (in the forehead/eyebrow areas)

    Chemical Peels and laser treatments

    Tanning or heavy sun exposure

  • Aftercare

    Immediately after

You may experience a “stinging” sensation in the treated area(s) immediately after. This is normal and it generally only lasts for about an hour.

If the treated area is swollen, you may apply ice packs covered with a clean cloth.

If you are receiving Plasma Pen treatment anywhere on your face or neck, we recommend you sleep on your back with your head elevated to reduce swelling.

Do NOT cleanse the treated area until the following day.

Do NOT excessive 48 hours after treatment or expose yourself to any heat, steam, or sweat as this can intensify the inflammation.

Do not cover the treated area with occlusive dressing or any type of sunblock, makeup, mascara, creams or any other products until the area is fully healed.

The initial healing process takes about 7 days when the crusts have fallen off.

Expect redness, swelling and inflammation for the first 1-5 days post treatment. This is normal, and very minor.

    Following days after

It is normal for the area that has been treated to be red/pink, swollen and feel tight and dry. Occasional weeping is normal and will settle.

Tiny crusts will quickly form on the treated area. These may be visible for up to about a week.

Do NOT pick the crusts off as this will delay the healing process and could cause hyperpigmentation and scarring.

The area treated should be cleansed daily with room temperature water.

Avoid using washcloths or any other washing devices. Do NOT be tempted to rub, brush or exfoliate the area in any way to aid in the removal of the crusts.

Avoid swimming in chlorinated water as it can increase irritation.

Keep scabs/crusts moist by applying provided aftercare three times a day, but only in small amounts. Do not soak the area.

Avoid shaving the treated area until it is fully healed.

If you had treatment around your eyes, you should avoid wearing contacts for 72 hours after your treatment.

Once the scabs have fallen off (approximately 7 days), your skin may be a little pink. You may begin to apply your normal makeup, but avoid using skincare products containing glycolic/ salicylic/ retinoids/ AHA/ scrubs/ Clarisonic or any other exfoliating ingredients/ devices for at least 21 days, as this will cause irritation.

Absolutely NO MAKEUP until the scabs have fallen off.

Avoid sun exposure. Once the scabs have fallen off, you must wear sunblock and a hat while your skin is in the healing stages (pink in color) and you should continue to do so for atleast the next 12 weeks to avoid hyperpigmentation.

Do NOT sunbath/ sun tanning beds for 10-12 weeks post procedure.

Do NOT have any other facial treatments in the same treatment area while your skin is healing (12 weeks)

Do NOT wax treatment area for at least 21 days, if not longer. If you are receiving Plasma Pen treatment anywhere around the eyes, I would wait the full 12 weeks. It will be ok to tweeze or thread any unwanted hairs after scabs have fallen off the area.

Lip Blush

Please read carefully before booking your lip blush treatment!

  • We can’t wait to perfect that pout! Here's a list of things to help better prepare yourself for your Lip Blush appointment:

Do not book your Lip Blush appointment within days of a special event. You will require a few days of downtime following your initial appointment.

Please refrain from all activities that may cause irritation of the skin or thinning of the blood prior to your appointment:

Refrain from alcohol consumption 24 hours before receiving your Lip Blush treatment

Refrain from suntanning, microdermabrasion, dermaplanning, laser treatment, and chemical peels 7-10 days before receiving Lip Blush.

Refrain from all medications that cause thinning of the blood including but not limited to: Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Niacin, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, and Ibuprofen. Please consult your physician before stopping any medication.

Refrain from consuming coffee and energy drink the day of your appointment.

Clients who have experienced a cold sore in or around the mouth MUST take Valtrex at least 3 days prior and 3 days after receiving this treatment. Failure to follow these instructions can risk an outbreak that can affect the healing process.

If you are experiencing any blemishes, acne, or skin irritations leading up to your procedure please contact WrightLooks. No children under the age of 18 are allowed in the studio.

    What is Lip Blush?

  • Aftercare

The area will feel a bit sore and will look quite intense. There may be some swelling and minor bruising that only lasts for 1-2 days.

The next day, the color of the tattoo will darken as scabs begin to form, there may still be some swelling or minor bruising

Wipe your tattoo every hour until the oozing has stopped with a wet cotton round and pat the area dry to ensure no fluids sit and form scabs.

You may ice the skin if it is feeling tender or swollen after the procedure. Wrap an ice pack or a ziplock of ice in a napkin and place on the area for as long as desired.

Gently wash with After Soap twice a day. Apply ointment three times a day.

Avoid harsh cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on the treated area until all the scabs have naturally fallen off. These things can jeopardize the healing of the tattoo.

Don’t pick, scratch or bite off the scabs. Let the scabs fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring, loss of pigment, or an infection.

Do not expose your tattoo to UV rays or tanning beds for 4 weeks after the procedure. These things can alter the appearance of your tattoo dramatically.

Do not sweat on the tattoo until all the scabs have come off naturally. Sweat will take the pigment from your tattoo. If you do sweat on them, dab it off immediately.

Do not get any facials, Botox, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks post appointment date.

    After Scabbing Phase:

Once the scabs have completely fallen off, you may apply makeup over the area and return back to your normal routine. Note that after the scabs come off your tattoo may have a milky/grey hue to it. This just means that the surface skin is healed but the underneath layers still need time to heal. The complete healing process takes 6 weeks. At 6 weeks the true and final color of the tattoo will show. It is only after 6 weeks that a touchup to the tattoo can be done.

Please note that your tattoo will be softer and not as crisp when healed.

Note that results will vary with each individual and are extremely dependent on your skin and how you care for it during healing. It may take more than one session to achieve your desired result.
